Important Notes
Registration
Date: Saturday July 24 Time:

Delegates must pick up their badges,
gala tickets (where appropriate),
convention materials and receipts at the
registration desk. EMCIS delegates are
required to wear their badge at all
times for security, identification and
networking purposes.

Presenters
• Presentations last 20 minutes with 10
minutes for questions and answers.
• Overhead projectors (OHPs), digital
projectors and 3 laptops equipped with
Windows XP and Office XP/2003 will be
made available for use.
• Presenters are expected to arrive with
a backup copy of their presentation on
floppy disk, CD ROM or USB Key in
Microsoft PowerPoint format or OHP
slides.
• Presenters can alternatively bring
their own equipment (i.e. laptops) and
connect to the digital projectors.
Track Chairs
• Track chairs are responsible for
introducing each presenter and make sure
they keep within the 20+10 time limit.
• Track chairs should facilitate
discussion and prompt for feedback where
possible.
