EMCIS reserves the right to accept or reject any research submission. Reasons for rejection include, but are not limited to: topics not fitting the conference programme main theme or tracks, failure to meet professional obligations in previous EMCIS conferences (e.g., not completing a paper, not delivering a paper on time, failure to adhere to reviewers comments, or failure to appear for a schedule slot without prior consent), failure to register for the conference, unprofessional conduct.

Cancellation Policy: EMCIS adopts a NO refund policy for all conferences held. In the unlikely case of cancellation due to major uncontrolled events (force majeur) EMCIS Committee, Brunel University, German Universiy in Cairo, Otto-von-guerike university in Magdeburg, Ahlia University, ISEing Research Group, and their staff members will not be held liable or accountable for any issues evolving as a result of such cancellation. Delegates, in this case are adivsed to contact their insurance providers. However, should the committee decide to cancel the conference for reasons unrelated to force majeur, delegates will be refunded their registration fees in full.
